Required Related Experience

Required License/Registration/Certification Nationally recognized certification; Kentucky license
Physical Requirements Repetitive motion with hands, standing for extended periods of time, high degree of mental concentration for an extended period of time, occasional pushing/pulling of objects less than 50 lbs to arrange space to optimize communication.
Shift Monday-Friday; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Job Summary The Interpreter position will deliver high quality interpreting services to staff and consumers of the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation who are deaf, deaf/blind, and hard of hearing using American Sign Language. This person will also collaborate and establish relationships with organizations that serve people who are deaf, deaf/blind, and hard of hearing.
This position will advance HDI’s mission and strategic plan.
