THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Salary: $82.01 – $88.60 p/h + 11% super
  • Location: Moorabbin campus.
  • WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
  • Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
  • Position Status: Casual

The Department of Community & Social Studies is actively seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to play a pivotal role in conducting placement visits and assessing students enrolled in the Diploma of Community Services.

In this essential position, you will primarily focus on assessing student placements within community services settings, ensuring strict adherence to assessment standards while nurturing a supportive and enriching learning environment for our students.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will possess the following:

  • An approved degree or diploma in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
  • Experience in teaching vocational and/or higher education, with expertise in developing and implementing training and assessment strategies to meet both student and course requirements
  • Current industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with team members, promoting a supportive and inclusive work culture.
