What is Asset Owner Solutions:

  • The creation of IQ EQ Asset Owner Solutions stems from many years of servicing fund of fund clients, ultra-high net worth individuals & institutional investors. Clients have a growing requirement for full transparency on their portfolios, allowing them to make more informed investment decisions by having a deep understanding of their performance and exposures.
  • IQ EQ Asset Owner Solutions is an exciting and rapidly growing area of the business, combining administration with technology to provide clients with overviews and understanding of portfolio performance. The division builds and maintains technology platforms to aid internal and external client reporting, via dynamic dashboards giving clients ability to slice and dice their portfolio to gain deeper understanding of portfolio performance.

Responsibilities:

Overall expectation from the successful candidate will be to directly support in the growth of the AOS division, by working with the Commercial Manager to improve the sales process, speed up time to market, develop a strategic go to market strategy for key prospects and increase the win ratio of the division. This role will have an active part in helping the division hit both new business and overall revenue targets, which as a standalone division will be seen and viewed by IQ-EQ’s board, allowing for high levels of Group exposure.

The successful candidate will have exposure to all new business opportunities within the division, be responsible for initial drafting of fee proposals and marketing documents, be required to collate and consolidate meeting notes from discussions with prospects and help support pipeline maintenance. The candidate will have wide exposure to individuals across the Group, and be actively work on some of the most exciting deals that IQ-EQ is involved with.

Tasks

  • Familiarize yourself with the company’s vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives
  • Assist in the signing of new clients for the division
  • Help support management of the AOS pipeline, including CRM platform management
  • Help liaise with the IQ-EQ regional/divisional POCs as appropriate, for sales and legals
  • Support and help develop new projects and business development processes, including providing system demos (internal and external) where required. Training will be provided in this regard
  • Market research on competitors, prospects and market trends to improve discussions during new business meetings
  • Attend meetings with clients and take detailed notes for follow up discussions
  • Contribute within division roadmap conversations, including discussing ideas for platform growth
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines across different time zones
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff and clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years’ relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred
  • Preferably with knowledge and experience within the Private Equity and/or Alterative Investment industry
  • Excellent written, numerical and communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Friendly and personable demeanour
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to quickly learn and use new technology – knowledge of SQL/Tableau beneficial but not required
  • Interest in studying towards professional industry qualifications
  • Languages beneficial but not required
