Saint Mary’s College seeks to hire a per-course adjunct faculty member to teach Politics 203, Introduction to International Relations, in the traditional undergraduate program in Spring 2024.

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 8:00-9:05am

This course will be taught in person, on campus.

In this introductory course, we will explore the different theoretical frameworks for the study of international politics. We examine how, why, and where the national interests of some actors collide and those of other actors coalesce.

Qualifications:
ABD or PhD (preferred) in political science, international relations, sociology, or related field. Experience teaching in a liberal arts environment to a diverse student body are desirable. Candidate must agree to structure syllabus with assignments that will demonstrate common core learning outcomes.

Candidates must reside in California.

Salary: $9,929-$13,744 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
