Please note, the recruitment for this role is being administered by the Local Government Association on behalf of Local Partnerships LLP.Background to the RoleLocal Partnership’s Climate team provide support across England and Wales to local authorities and other public sector organisations to accelerate the scale and pace of the delivery of climate response and energy programmes and projects.As we continue to develop and increase the support to the public sector, we are seeking to increase our capacity and there is a need to recruit an Assistant Director to the team.Working as part of the Climate team, the successful candidate will bring their professional expertise and project management skills to assist with the delivery of a variety of climate related programmes and projects. Knowledge transfer of complex written and analytical information to the client is a key part of the role, and excellent communication skills are vital.About the roleAssistant Directors are responsible for supporting the successful delivery of activity within specific teams for Local Partnerships, ensuring that the objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints. Likely to hold sector specific knowledge at a detailed level and be able to apply that knowledge to a variety of scenarios.
