The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School Office of Experiential Learning (OEL) is looking for a detailed and organized innovative professional for the position of Assistant Director, Experiential Learning and Partner Residencies . OEL is responsible for integrating regional, national, and international business projects in school programs and courses; developing and administering dynamic domestic and international experiences; and supporting other curricular and co-curricular experiential learning initiatives.
This is new role within a growing office and will support the implementation of experiential learning courses and short-term residencies hosting at the Carey Business School’s Harbor East, Baltimore campus. The role will work closely with the Associate Director to plan and implement MS degree project-based experiential learning and a growing number of hosted partner residencies.

The Assistant Director will be a modified hybrid position working 2 days each week in the office and the remainder of the week remotely. Occasional early morning, evening or weekend work may be required to accommodate program needs. This role reports to the Associate Director, Experiential Learning and Partner Residencies.

JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers.
