Reporting to the Chief Human Resource Officer, the candidate will collaborate closely with the internal HR teams to support internal communications for HR initiatives/ policies. He/she will also play a key role in the delivery of communication of HR programmes to ensure alignment with the University’s business priorities, culture and values. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong writing, multi-media and project management skills to develop and operationalise HR Communication that impacts a diverse workforce at one of the top universities in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement key HR Communication strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Actively work with the Management and stakeholders to coordinate and create clear internal communications to drive understanding and alignment across the organization
Provide advice to internal teams to ensure that communication strategies are integrated and well-delivered
Drive the roll out of initiatives under the Employee Value Proposition
Increase overall employee engagement through the various communication channels, ensuring consistency across all employee touchpoints
Creation of all internal newsletters and staff announcement communications, communication on relevant business updates, strategies and goals to the workforce
Develop and implement communication strategies across various media including traditional and social media. To position NTU as a Choice Employer, you will work with internal stakeholders to curate content on NTU’s Career Page and Staff Intranet to appeal to our target audiences.
Drive Employee Engagement Surveys, analyse the findings and work with internal stakeholders on the recommended actions to take as a post-survey follow up.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resource or related disciplines
At least 10-12 years’ of experience with at least 8 years in internal / HR communications.
Good knowledge and understanding of core HR functions.
Experience in writing and producing various types of communications across a variety of channels
Excellent visual and written communication skills (shortlisted candidates will be requested to furnish a portfolio that represents a range of content and visual communications that he/she has completed that showcases his/her talent for connecting with readers)
Excellent interpersonal skills in building rapport and trusting relationship with various stakeholders.
Proactive and is a strong team player who can drive optimal results
Effective in juggling multiple projects and deadlines which producing high-quality work
