About the opportunity
Located on Baker Street, our childcare service is an important part of the tight-knit Kaniva community in the Mallee-Wimmera region.
We have a permanent part-time opportunity to join our Early Learning team and help ensure we provide a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for children in small group sizes in our long day care service.
You will play an important role in assisting our Room Leaders and other qualified educators to provide social and educational activities to build a child’s sense of belonging, resilience, kindness, and teamwork.

What’s on offer
Work part time – 40 hours per fortnight working 5 hours per day covering staff lunch breaks and Service Leader program and planning.

There is also the option to increase your annual leave entitlements through our purchased leave program.
About you
You will ideally have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
You will also bring:
- Sound knowledge of the underlying principles of Early Childhood, gained through experience, education and / or training.
- Knowledge of the statutory requirements related to Early Childhood.
