Your team

If you accept the position of Assistant, you will join a motivated team of 14 people in the Internationalisation and Innovation Business Unit, within the International Development Department.

The goal of your future team is twofold:

  • helping entrepreneurs to expand internationally, manage innovation and make the transition to a sustainable and digital economy;
  • helping them to prepare and carry out European R&D projects as part of the Horizon Europe programme.

Your missions

Administrative, technical and logistical support for the team:

  • Client welcome and contact;
  • Organisational support for meetings and events (booking rooms, managing participants, etc.) and organising advisors’ travel abroad;
  • Data collection and recording (CRM), contribution to technical and financial activity reports (hub, Innoviris, European Commission) and financial management.

Support for prospecting:

  • Analysis of company data from existing databases for prospecting purposes as part of Enterprise Europe Brussels (EEB) and NCP Brussels (NCP) missions;
  • Analysis of the results of Brussels’ participation in Horizon Europe with a view to better targeting the promotion of NCP services to potential participants in the programme (universities, research centres, companies of all sizes, public organisations, associations).

Support for communication:

  • Media coverage of BU news and the European Commission’s activities in the field of Research & Innovation (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, Single Market Programme) on the NCP and EEB websites and their respective social networks, mailings;
  • Contributing to the production of communication material for NCP, EEB and hub.brussels, such as fact sheets, success stories, articles, videos, newsletters and FAQs.

Your profile

Exclusive criteria:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree (BAC+3) in executive secretarial work or in economics, business, law, languages or communication;
  • If you obtained your diploma abroad, equivalence should be recognised by one of the communities of the Belgian State;
  • You have at least three years’ professional experience, including at least two years in a similar role;
  • You are proficient in at least one of the two official languages (French/Dutch) with a willingness to learn the second;
  • You are fluent in English (both spoken and written);
  • You know how to use the Office suite, the Internet and social networks (LinkedIn, X).

Desired criteria:

  • Relevant experience as a team or management assistant in an international environment;
  • Experience in online meeting/seminar platforms;
  • Sense of organisation and planning;
  • Rigour and precision, reliability and flexibility;
  • Respect for confidentiality;
  • Solution-oriented;
  • Versatile;
  • Team player.

Our offer

  • A full-time or part-time replacement contract, starting immediately;
  • A gross salary according to the grade B101 ABAE scales:
    • For 0 years’ experience: 2,855.07 euros;
    • For 3 years’ experience: 3,163.53 euros;
    • For 6 years’ experience: 3,256.47 euros.
