Salary:  $4,174.00 – $5,615.00 Monthly

As the Assistant Fixed Wing Unit Manager, you will be working closely with the Fixed Wing Unit Manager to run up to 7 bases, 12+ aircraft, and 5 SEAT Managers all across the state of Washington.

Required Qualifications: 

  • SEAT Manager qualified (SEMG).
  • Parking Tender qualified.
  • Ramp Manager qualified.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of training and work plans.
  • Knowledge of fire behavior and aircraft use supporting an Incident Command System.
  • Knowledge of accepted safety practices in suppressing fires.
  • 2 years supervising Aviation wildland fire resources.
  • Understanding and use of Agency/Program/Cooperators Aviation plans and contracts.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and supporting an environment that honors diversity, equity, inclusion, and environmental justice practices.
  • Perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and public records retention and requests are followed.
