Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology aounces a contract for the position of a research assistant in the Department of Biotechnology and Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology (POSITION 2)

 

Time frame: full-time employment

Number of available positions: 1

Type of employment contract: fixed-term contract, 23 months

Skills/Qualifications

•    Higher technical education in the fields of scientific disciplines: Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Biotechnology (Master of Science in Engineering)

•    PhD degree in Technical Sciences; Chemical Engineering

•    Documented knowledge of English at a minimum level of B2.

•    Confirmed knowledge of the Polish language in cases where it is not the candidate’s native language

 

Specific Requirements

  • Managing at least 3 scientific and research projects with external financing
  • Co-authorship of at least 4 granted national or international patents
  • Co-authorship of at least 30 scientific publications, including at least 5 as the first author
  • Knowledge of software: MS Office, Omnic, Match!, Chromeleon, Chemsketch, Mendeley.
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques UV-Vis, fluorescence, FT-IR infrared spectroscopy, AAS atomic absorption spectroscopy, HPLC, GC, GPC, IC chromatography, quantitative cytotoxicity testing
  • Knowledge of biotechnology and spectroscopy;
  • Experience in the synthesis and analysis of new materials and biomaterials,
  • Experience in acquiring research projects obtained through competition, planning and implementation of research tasks.
