All About You

The responsibilities for the new position will break down as follows: 50% teaching, 20% clinical/supervision, 20% research, and 10% service. The faculty member will maintain a 3 Fall/2 Spring teaching load in the Medical Family Therapy Program, teaching core courses in both the master’s and Doctoral Program. This position will also require supervision and clinical responsibilities in the program, where the faculty member will supervise and observe behavioral health sessions for both programs. Additionally, this faculty member would be designated as the Director of The Center for Counseling and Family Therapy, overseeing the lead clinical coordinator and clinic interns. This director position would continue to help bring in revenue to the clinic to help fund future students in the program and help scale other training initiatives in the program and department.

We will seek candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on experience, who can successfully apply for external funding, helping to offset faculty costs in fulfilling clinical and curriculum responsibilities. The ideal candidate will also have experience working in primary care or integrated care settings, where they assumed both clinical and supervision duties for behavioral health patients.
