Summary of Job Duties:
The ED Assistant Professor provides direct patient care under the supervision the Medical Director (or designee) of the Department of Emergency Medicine, working at the UAMS Emergency Department. The ED Assistant Professor practices within the Scope of Practice for Certified Paramedics in the State of Arkansas and also within the Department of Nursing Standards. The ED Assistant Professor adheres to UAMS Clinical Programs policies, procedures, standards and guest relations.

Qualifications:

Board certified or Board eligible Emergency Medicine Physician

ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
