| Position Summary | The Department of Biology in the College of Science and Health at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse (UWL) invites applications for an academic year, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Physiology and/or Anatomy. Our new colleague will teach in our two-semester undergraduate human anatomy and physiology course series. Depending on expertise, this individual may also teach other undergraduate Biology core courses, such as General Biology, Genetics, or Cell Biology. Opportunities also exist for teaching other courses in our curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels, or to develop an elective course that complements our existing Biology major or our affiliated minors in Nutrition and Neuroscience. We seek an engaging teacher/scholar with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring, with the potential to develop an externally funded research program involving undergraduate and graduate (M.S.) students. |
