Offer Description

The post is for a three-year period. The annual gross salary is about 47.000 Euros. The area of research and teaching is Statistics:

Requested research duties: research activity on topics of statistical inference and analysis, also through computational methods, with particular reference to multivariate distributions, moments and cumulants, measures of asymmetry and kurtosis, non-parametric methods, analysis of the tails of a distribution;

Requested teaching duties: teaching, following the planning of the Department of Economics and Management, will include delivering courses in the disciplinary area covered by the announcement. Such courses will be carried on in the bachelor, master’s and doctoral level programs, also in English, offered by the Department and any teaching assignments assigned as an institutional task, according to legal provisions. The contract holder’s teaching commitment is defined by the Council of the Department of Economics and Management during the planning phase of teaching activities, according to specific University regulations;

Foreign language required: excellent level of English;
Knowledge of Italian: level adequate to carry out the assigned teaching load (the researcher will be required to teach in Italian);
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 12;
