The team
The team delivers transport decarbonisation projects on behalf of both Government and
commercial partners with the sole aim of addressing the climate emergency. The team is
multi-disciplinary and passionate about the programmes we deliver.
Transport emissions are a major contributor to global greenhouse gases the projects we deliver
work directly with Businesses, Local Authorities and Consumers to help them reduce their own

The role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Group Transport team in London. You will be a key
player working with Energy Saving Trust colleagues and stakeholders to support the successful
delivery of the Department for Transport (DfT) work programme.
What you’ll do
Reporting to the programme manager, you’ll support the successful delivery of two government
grant schemes for public chargepoints (the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Scheme and,
the On-Street Residential Chargepoint Scheme). You’ll support local authorities with their
applications, provide application progress updates internally and to the client, assess
applications, analyse data sets, and work closely with the funder and the consortium partners.
You will also assist the delivery of a multitude of projects, collaborating with colleagues
across multiple teams and working with sector-leading organisations. You’ll be involved in
wider programme delivery and management as required, including evaluation and reporting.
What you’ll bring
Your ability to plan and prioritise tasks and pay close attention to detail will underpin your
success in this role. Additionally, developing good working relationships and your strong
written and verbal communication skills will be fundamental to your effective performance.
