Job Description
Our Geotechnical expertise provides the robust foundation for infrastructure development, helping clients to overcome complex topographical challenges to their projects, developing unique solutions where needed. We provide one-stop access to the full range of services for the efficient and effective delivery of geotechnical solutions, from feasibility studies, to detailed design, to project management including contract administration and construction supervision.
Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager / Project Engineer on all aspects of geotechnical and civil engineering projects

Accountable and report to the RGE under supervision of the RGE’s Representative

Provide professional assistance to TCP T5
-
Carry out specific tasks as per checklist devised by the RGE
-
Check the works are in compliance with the approved plan, the approved temporary works, method statements, precautionary and protective measures
-
Monitor and supervise the work of the Registered Contractor’s TCPs
-
Deal with non-conformities by making referral to the RGE’s Representative and notify other streams’ TCPs
-
Provide technical supports for geotechnical engineering projects in design office on occasion
-
Provide supports to slope maintenance projects on preparation of inspection data and slope maintenance manual
-
Carry out slope inspections for slope maintenance projects on occasion
-
Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy
Qualifications
-
Higher Diploma in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering, with minimum 5 years relevant working experience, OR Degree holder in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering, with at least 3 years relevant working experience

Candidate with experience in Ground Investigation / Slope, OR site supervision experience in ELS / Foundation

Prior experience in TCP-T3 is an advantage.

Effective individual contributor with ability to work well in team

Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills

Able to meet various deadlines to complete tasks and project works assigned

Self-motivated with high personal drive for achievements and success

Knowledgeable in IT tools including business and engineering software and applications

Good command in written & spoken English while Chinese language skills are preferred
-
Candidates with other or lower qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Work arrangement: Site Deployment period: 6 days per week (Mon to Sat), actual hours subjected to project
Site location: Upon experience and discussion with hiring managers.
