ROLE

Kennedys is looking for an Associate to support the Aviation team to handle a high volume of claims from start to finish including pre-action injury claims, airline baggage claims and delay claims.

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded Aviation Team which is located in our London (with hybrid working) and we are interested in speaking to candidates that have had prior Aviation experience in a law firm and handling high volumes of claims.

TEAM

Kennedys’ Aviation team is focused on providing legal solutions to the entire aviation sector. We have extensive experience in supporting, advising and representing the aviation sector and its insurers, from private flying, through to global air carriers and product manufacturers.

Clients

• Insurers
• Airlines and air operators
• High net worth individuals
• Aerospace and defence companies
• Airports and aerodromes

Cases

• We advise on the full range of insurance and claims, regulatory and commercial matters.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years’ UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with the relevant experience*
• Previous experience of handling a high volume of claims from start to finish
• Previous litigation experience in a law firm, particularly within Aviation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Previous client contact and attendance at business development events.
