Position Summary
We are currently seeking an energetic self-starter with a curious mind and a collaborative spirit to join the Integrated Initiatives team as our full-time Associate Consultant, Integrated Initiatives.
The Integrated Initiatives Team at TCC Group tackles complex social problems through integrated action, informed by deep listening, intentional engagement, critical analysis, and bold approaches. The team helps nonprofits, companies, and foundations achieve their goals through the careful choreography of multiple program components, well-integrated and implemented for lasting impact.
The Associate Consultant, Integrated Initiatives contributes to the initiative design, program management and implementation services we provide our clients, including communication, stakeholder engagement, grant-making, strategic program design and development, and business development.
TCC Group has offices in New York and Philadelphia and will primarily be seeking candidates in our New York office; however, qualified candidates in other US locations may be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project manage 2-3 projects within a large client portfolio (50%)

Provide day-to-day and year-long project management support, including assisting with coordination of work of project teams across multiple business lines

Continually monitor and update budgets, workplans and revenue projections for projects and project staff

Participate in face-to-face and online meetings by assisting with agenda-setting, facilitation, note-taking (on flip charts and/or electronically) and writing summaries of these notes.

Serve as back-up to the work of consultants, as required

Supervise grant-making and management process, ensuring timely implementation

Manage relationships with grant partners and other stakeholders

General client relations, including telephone and email communication, and in-person meetings.
Conduct research and analysis to inform program design and implementation, and business development efforts (25%)

Program Design and Implementation

Assist in the design of quantitative and qualitative evaluation tools such as surveys, interview guides, site visit guides, evaluation frameworks, focus group guides, etc.

Conduct and document individual and group interviews, listening sessions, and surveys; analyzing and summarizing interview data

Collect information from published and on-line sources, in a systematic manner

Analyze and summarize collected information from published and on-line sources, surveys, listening sessions, and interviews, and draft results of research into various reports and presentations.

Read and understand logic models to create communication materials and evaluation tools.

Business Development
-
Assist in proposal-writing and sales calls with prospective clients.

General reading on issues and events in the practice areas.

Develop and execute discrete projects that advance business line and firm internal development (such as R&D, professional development, and information sharing).

Manage prospective clients/leads in Vantagepoint database.
Participate in and support content development across the Integrated Initiatives team (25%)

Translate complex qualitative and quantitative data into plain language in more digestible formats, such as infographics

Draft creative communication materials (including concept briefs) such as newsletters, factsheets, reports, and external e-mails

Develop and format presentations using PowerPoint, Prezi, etc., including developing speaking points
Qualifications
Required
-
3-5 years professional experience along with an advanced degree OR 5-7 years related professional experience
-
Project management superpowers – experience efficiently managing projects from start to finish with deadline sensitivity and the use of required tools and resources

Knowledge/experience in health and/or social justice demonstrated through prior work experience and/or volunteer work
-
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills – cultural sensitivity, and ability to adjust as needed
Preferred

Agency/consultant firm experience

Expertise in Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge or experience in health, HIV/AIDS, reproductive justice and women’s rights, racial justice, mental health, or substance use disorders demonstrated through prior work experience and/or volunteer work.

TCC Group offers a competitive and equitable total compensation package. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, 401k retirement plan with employer match, disability, life insurance, a generous paid time off, and more. The starting salary for this position is $65,000 – $75,000 commensurate with experience.
