The Development and Outreach Department of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking an Associate to provide administrative assistance in the Berlin Office. The Berlin office serves as an important base for HRW’s development, fundraising, and outreach activities in Germany.
This is a full-time position and requires availability to work occasional nights and weekend events. The Associate reports to the Senior Director of Development and Outreach based in Berlin.
The successful candidate will be expected to work from the Berlin office at least 2-3 days per week, with the option to work remotely the rest of the week. We aim to be as flexible and supportive as possible in both the recruitment for and onboarding of this position.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g. kaufmännische Ausbildung zur/zum Veranstaltungskauffrau/mann) is required. Education or training specifically in project management, event organization, administration, logistics or fundraising is preferable.
Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant work experience or other project coordination related experience is required.
Related Skills and Knowledge:
