Read on!Our client is a leading provider of engineering services worldwide. They design and manage projects which add value to their environment with a focus on sustainability. Project workload is varied and is delivered through multiple sectors from residential, aviation, healthcare, education, data centres and more. They use leading digital technology as their delivery model.They are seeking an Associate Director to lead the Building Physics and Building Performance team, where you will manage day to day activities of the team.Responsibilities:

  • Resource management to ensure appropriate work allocation to deliver Building Performance related work;
  • Ensure high quality of team’s technical work relating to building performance modelling;
  • Strong sustainability focus / NZC design strategies;
  • Identify opportunities to ensure client retains high profile in sustainability within the built environment;
  • Encourage use of the IES-VE Suite of tools by working with non-specialist building services engineers;
  • Undertake dynamic thermal modelling analysis (IES-VE);
  • Act as client lead contact for building performance related work.

Your work history should include leading thermal modelling and energy strategy work on multidisciplinary projects.About you:

  • Chartered or near Chartered;
  • Level 4 & 5 accredited Energy Assessor (LCEA);
  • Experienced in NABERS or TM54 design stage operational energy assessments;
  • Experienced in high quality report preparation;
  • Able to undertake calculations, production of models, specifications and reports, site surveys and construction stage duties;
  • Experience of DfE framework building performance and sustainability delivery requirements;
  • Able to support the team in their studies relating to BREEAM Credit evidence.
