As a Data & AI Strategy Associate Director, you will guide clients through AI transformation, helping them move beyond pilots and embed AI as a strategic, scalable capability.
You will:
Co-lead business development & growth – Help drive market expansion, build strategic partnerships, and generate revenue by positioning BOI as a trusted AI transformation partner;
Define AI strategy – Work with C-suite and senior leaders to develop AI roadmaps, aligning technology with business objectives;
Shape AI operating models – Design governance structures, talent strategies, and AI Centers of Excellence to scale AI responsibly;
Lead AI transformation programs – Oversee large-scale AI initiatives, ensuring seamless integration across business, data, and IT functions;
Bridge AI & organizational change – Drive AI adoption through structured change management, upskilling programs, and cultural shifts;
Advise on AI ethics & governance – Implement responsible AI frameworks that address bias, transparency, and regulatory compliance;
Guide AI investment & ROI prioritization – Identify high-impact AI use cases and build business cases for investment.
Ideal candidate profile
We’re looking for someone who embodies these qualities:
T-shaped expertise: Strong understanding of data, AI and ML combined with expertise in organizational change and transformation;
Enterprise AI strategy experience: Proven track record in defining and implementing AI strategies for large organizations;
Strong business & technical acumen: Ability to translate complex AI concepts into C-suite-ready insights and actionable strategies;
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams through data or AI-driven transformation programs—shaping operating models, guiding CoE development, and overseeing implementation efforts such as MLOps or AI-enabled workflows in complex enterprise environments;
Governance & ethics expertise: Strong understanding of AI regulation, responsible AI frameworks, and risk management;
AI adoption & change management: Experience in upskilling workforces, driving AI literacy, and integrating AI into business workflows;
Collaboration & influence: Ability to work cross-functionally with business leaders, data scientists, engineers, and product teams;
AI-Focused business development: Proven experience in securing strategic client partnerships, driving AI-related revenue growth, and expanding market presence.
Preferred qualifications
Advance degrees in AI, Data Science, or related fields;
6+ years of experience in AI strategy, data transformation, business strategy or enterprise AI deployment;
Consulting background (bonus: experience leading AI initiatives in a large enterprise);
Strong understanding of AI models, tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and MLOps;
Experience with AI governance frameworks, ethical AI, and regulatory compliance.
