Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, UCI Foundation, the Associate Director, Foundation Events will provide event, project, and programmatic support to the UCI Foundation team, the UCI Foundation Board, and the UAAR Vice Chancellor/President of the UCI Foundation and will serve as a liaison between UAAR staff and the UCIF Board. The Associate Director will manage high-visibility events involving the UCI Foundation, which is made up of highly influential members of the campus community. This management will include all aspects of the event planning process, from date selection and communication to post-event financial wrap-up. The Associate Director will also independently gather evaluate, and analyze data from a variety of sources, and will prepare detailed information and recommendations for a wide variety of high-profile events, 1 on 1 engagements, presentations, and meetings for UCIF. The Assistant Director will be expected to deal with policies, programs, and proposals that are complex in nature and diverse in scope. Follow standards of quality and excellence, ensuring events UCI’s mission and priorities, enhance reputation, and foster relationships with important internal and external audiences.
