Position Details
General Statement | Montana State University seeks a dynamic Associate Director of Programs. This position reports within Campus Recreation, which aligns with the Student Wellness area, within Student Success. This position will be a crucial part of managing the programs, processes and infrastructure within the new Student Wellness Center, 185,000 square foot facility that will be home to Campus Recreation, Student Health Services, Health Advancement and Counseling & Psychological Services. The Associate Director of Programs will provide leadership and expertise in administering all recreation-based programmatic offerings. The Associate Director assists the Director with the programmatic, financial and personnel functions of the department. The Associate Director will be responsible for building and cultivating relationships with numerous campus constituents to help advance the mission of the university, the division, and the department. This position will create and implement training and retention strategies and professional development opportunities for all Campus Rec professional staff. The Associate Director will supervise classified staff, and report to the Director. The Associate Director will serve on the departmental leadership team and act as Director in the absence of Director. |
