As Associate IT Officer (Information Security), you will serve as a focal point for unit work planning and reporting requirements, ensuring that ITOD-CS priorities align with ITD and ADB’s planning directions. You will support the unit by coordinating cross-functional activities and special projects that improve organizational effectiveness, cohesion, teamwork, and well-being. You will also be responsible for providing operational and analytical support to the planning, sourcing, and delivery of ITOD-CS’ activities and initiatives, including preparing relevant project-related documents, coordinating schedules and requirements, and monitoring activities and deliverables.

  • budget and ensuring it is used effectively and efficiently following ADB’s policies.
  • work plan and ensures it is timely prepared, submitted and monitored.
  • Support governance activities by monitoring progress/status of matters requiring action/attention to ensure timely completion and promoting better coordination across the division. Provides periodic status reports and/or dashboards on initiatives.
  • Support Cybersecurity projects by assisting in development of business case, other project documents and monitoring overall project budget, schedule and progress.
  • Prepare ITOD-CS’s annual procurement plan and all procurement related documents in coordination with Team Leads, processes all procurement requests for the division, and monitors contracts, including handling payment milestones, preparing change requests, etc.
  • Gather data and examine information collected within the division needed for workforce management, staff and organizational development, and related service management areas in operations and projects.
  • Assist Team Leads in preparing terms of reference for resource requirements.
  • Draft reports and presentation materials for department and institutional requirements.
  • Support in planning, organizing and facilitating ITOD-CS events, e.g., knowledge-sharing, townhalls, workshops, retreat, etc.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned and reflected in the incumbent’s workplan.

Qualifications:

You will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, management, business or any related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in project management, procurement, accounting, and administration.
  • Experience with ADB IT projects, procurement and IT operations is highly preferred.
  • Solid critical thinking, problem solving, planning and organization skills
  • Very attentive to details and methodical with work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a matrixed environment.
  • Should have ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Should be able to motivate or inspire a good work ethics among IT security analysts
