MAIN JOB CONTENT
Anticipated job responsibilities:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses with a focus on social education and counselling.
- Indicative examples of subjects the candidate will teach: Social policy, Social education, Social work, Educational psychology.
- Supervision of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses.
- Organization and leadership of professional practices.
- Research leading to significant academic publications.
- Preparation and solution of research grants and development of international cooperation.
WE REQUEST
Requirements for candidates:
- Habilitation in the field of social pedagogy, social work, andragogy, education, sociology, psychology, or completion of a Ph.D. – graduate of doctoral studies in the field of Social education, Social work, Andragogy, Education, Sociology, Psychology.
- Professional focus on education with the potential to significantly contribute to the development of the social pedagogy and counselling study program.
- Appropriate pedagogical experience at the university level.
- Experience with research projects.
- Experience with handling international research projects.
- Active participation in international scientific conferences, presentation of research results at these conferences, and other professional meetings abroad.
- Potential for scientific activity.
- Potential for international research activities.
- Relevant publication activity in the field in Czech and international journals.
- Knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent knowledge of the Czech language.
