Contractual appointment. Appointee is a mid-level professor. Appointee is not eligible for consideration for tenure. Academic duties primarily involve academic administration, typically supported by ‘soft’ funds; attend faculty meetings; act as journal referee; maintain office hours; participate in academic and professional committees and activities, both within and outside the University; participate in recruiting. Appointed to an indefinite term after 6 years continuous employment at rank in the same department.
