■About Inamori Frontier Program

This year, Kyushu University will implement the “Inamori Frontier Program” to attract world-class young researchers of exceptional quality. This Program invests in the recruitment and development of outstanding human resources through the Institute for Advanced Study. We seek highly talented young researchers at the frontier of their field, who will develop radically original and ambitious projects as independent principal investigators in any research area, from the humanities and social sciences to the natural sciences. 

The Inamori Frontier Program Fellows will be employed with exceptionally high salaries as Associate Professors of the Institute for Advanced Study, and will be offered maximal support, budget, and time to devote themselves completely to research.

 

■Job Summary

Associate Professor (full-time)

 

Required Qualifications

(1) Young researchers who can carry out independent research activities as independent PI, regardless of research fields. 

(2) Possess a Ph.D., regardless of academic discipline, at the time of taking up employment at the University.

Five years from the date of hiring in principle (fixed term)
