Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Raptor Conservation, the Associate, Raptor Rehabilitation is responsible for the day-to-day care of the Audubon Center’s permanent resident collection, and the care and evaluation of raptor patients under rehabilitation. This individual will also co-lead R+ training for ambassadors and resident raptors, provide support in the Raptor Trauma Clinic, and oversee volunteers in the aviary and rehabilitation programs.
The Associate, Raptor Rehabilitation will maintain and cultivate relationships with state and federal agencies, wildlife rehabilitators, veterinarians, researchers, supporters, the general public, and other organizations and individuals to help broaden the Center’s base of support and involvement with Audubon. This position is a full-time, 40 hours a week role from Sunday-Thursday 8:30 am-5:00 pm at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey.
Compensation:
$23.77 – $24.00 / hour
