As part of this process, you will identify regional consultants, create and distribute Request for Proposals, coordinate with your Manager to select consultants, and oversee the drafting and finalization of project documents.
- Support project teams on developing vegetation strategies during permitting and implementing that strategy during construction while providing staff training on vegetation topics.
- Review projects to evaluate if they have met vegetation objectives and comply with the conditions of permit requirements and costumer expectations.
- Conduct site visits to projects during construction and operational stages in the appropriate growing season windows to evaluate vegetation performance, review ongoing vegetation management processes, and follow through on next steps to ensure successful establishment.
- Support management on review of project documents and plans, development of vegetation management improvements and processes, and forward-thinking strategies that are relevant to Invenergy’s vegetation program.
- Provide feedback and engagement with industry groups relating to vegetation management, biodiversity enhancement, and ecosystem services on utility-scale solar and wind projects.
- Participate in Company initiatives that support sustainability, ecosystem benefits, and mitigation opportunities for projects in your portfolio.
