You will also provide support and mentorship to junior members of the team as they carry out audit assignments under your supervision. You will also be involved with audit planning and completion processes, providing progress updates and escalating any issues to management, as required.You will prepare year-end accounts for a range of SME clients and respond to accounting queries, as well as potentially supporting with tax compliance during busier periods of the year. Support will be given to broaden your wider accounting knowledge and skills.Progression opportunities are unrestricted and actively encouraged as part of your personal and professional development. The team also enjoy spending time together outside of working hours with various social events in the calendar as organised by the firm’s social committee.To be considered you must be a nearly or recently qualified CA/ACCA/ACA with previous experience gained within a UK Accountancy firm. Ideally, you will have experience of working with SME or owner-managed business clients within an external audit and/or accounts capacity. Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organisation skills are essential.Salary up to £43,000 (DOE) + Benefits.
