- Summer internships are facilitated from November 2024 through to May 2025.
The Aurora Internship Program offers a compelling opportunity to develop practical skills, build professional networks and gain a rewarding opportunity to learn from and work with First Nations peoples, communities and organisations.
The Program arranges 4-6 week full internships and 2-3 week micro-internships Australia-wide with Indigenous sector organisations and corporate organisations involved in a range of areas such as health, education, land rights, justice, community development, environmental science, legal, creative arts, social welfare, research, IT, communications and finance.
The Program arranges internships for students and graduates from ALL academic backgrounds. Internships are available in all major cities and some remote/regional areas of Australia.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are eligible for scholarships during their internship, including a daily stipend payment ($180 a day/$900 a week) to cover daily living expenses and up to $3,800 for travel and accommodation costs for away-from-home internships.
