Banking and Finance Solicitor

A Banking and Finance Solicitor is required by this national law firm to join its Liverpool office.

Role Overview

You will assist partners and manage your own caseload of leveraged finance, corporate finance for PLC borrowers and real estate finance, but with a primary focus on ABL. You will have involvement in drafting a wide range of finance documents, including credit agreements, intercreditor agreements and security documentation. You will join a team working with lenders and borrowers on complex, high-value and high-profile financing transactions in the UK and internationally.

Candidate Profile
This role would be suitable for someone with the following experience:

• Ideally around 2-4 yrs experience in banking, corporate finance or real estate finance work is essential;
• Have some knowledge of lender and borrower requirements and approaches to transactions
• Experience of ABL transactions would be preferable but is not essential, as training will be provided
• Be willing to focus on ABL transactions, but also work in practice areas outside of this specialism in order to become a more rounded finance lawyer
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills
