It’s all about the money; as an NGO it is vital that we ensure that our financial resources are accurately and effectively managed. The Banking Officer is responsible for end-to-end banking activities as well as assisting with cashflow modelling and monitoring cash limits. Use your expertise to ensure timely and accurate banking data is available for Save the Children to facilitate well informed business decisions while following our customer centric approach to banking.

Where you come in:
In this full-time permanent position, based in Carlton*, you will work on end-to-end banking activities in a high-volume environment as well as identifying and analysing areas for process improvement to help the team work as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will be part of our Finance and Support Services team and report to our Team Lead – Treasury & Transaction Accounting.
You will make an impact by:
- Ensuring timely recording of receipts through DMP and bank accounts
- Accurately completing monthly bank reconciliations
- Regularly reviewing and approving Sales Orders
- Maintaining the Daily Cashflow model and monitoring cash levels
- Working in a team and providing support to stakeholders
Does this sound like you?
You’re an Excel whiz with a keen eye for detail and accurate data entry skills. Prioritising and problem-solving are second nature for you, and you love working collaboratively in a team environment. You enjoy building strong working relationships and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
This role requires:
- Experience in high-volume data entry and administration with proven accuracy and speed
- Demonstrated experience in performing bank reconciliations
- A strong ability to analyse issues and problem solve
- Advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for attention to detail and problem solving
