Banking Solicitor – Contract Role (Bristol or London) Location: Bristol or London (Hybrid/Remote Working Available) Contract: c6 months (potential to extend) PQE: 4+ years Salary: Competitive day rate BCL Legal is partnering with a highly respected UK law firm on an exciting opportunity for a senior banking solicitor to join their team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading national practice, supporting on a strong pipeline of complex and high-value banking transactions. The team acts for major UK and international lenders and borrowers across a wide range of sectors, with particular strength in real estate finance, corporate lending, and development finance. The Opportunity: – Advise on a broad mix of banking and finance matters, including corporate lending, acquisition finance, development and real estate finance. – Work closely with a Chambers-ranked team on a mix of domestic and cross-border transactions. – Flexible working model, with the option to work from either the Bristol or London office and from home. – Join a collaborative, friendly team culture within a top-tier law firm. Requirements: – 4+ years’ PQE in banking and finance law gained in a recognised practice. – Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage complex transactions with minimal supervision. – Commercial approach, with excellent communication and client-handling skills. – Available at short notice or within a month.
