Job description

• To set up the bar counter in the appropriate manner as per Company procedures
• To meet and greet customers, take drink orders and liase with all relevant personnel in ensuring the delivery of these orders to the customer
• To anticipate the needs of the customer and to ensure that the customer receives excellent customer service at all times
• To ensure that the food service and bar service areas meets the Company standard regarding cleanliness, health and safety
• To calculate the bills correctly and accept and verify various methods of payment
• To refill bar stock levels and ensure efficient bar stock including stock rotation
• To carry out end of shift duties according to Company procedures
• To carry out toilet checks on a regular basis
• To ensure that a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance is maintained at all times
• Any other duties relevant and related to the post

Educational qualifications

• Educated to secondary level standard

Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 6 months previous bar service experience is essential
• A working knowledge of Micros is desirable
• The ideal candidate will be a team player, customer focused and enthusiastic, with the desire to ensure that our customers receive excellent service
• With excellent communication skills, the ideal candidate will be able to approach their work in a methodical and logical manner
