About your new role
As a Proficient Behavioural Support Practitioner, you’ll be partnering with Allied Health Professionals to create personalised support plans for our remarkable clients – spanning from children to adults, covering a wide spectrum of needs and abilities. Get ready for a dynamic caseload that includes a variety of intellectual and psychosocial diagnoses. You’ll showcase your expertise in identifying and phasing out restrictive practices, ensuring our clients receive the most effective and empowering support.
But that’s not all! Prepare for regular check-ins with our Senior Practitioners, engaging in monthly gatherings with your fellow Practitioners, and ongoing guidance and mentorship from our dedicated team of Allied Health professionals and your supportive Team Leader. - Craft Supercharged Behavioural Assessments: Harness your skills to develop cutting-edge behavioural assessments and analysis support plans that are as effective as they are innovative.
- Forge Connections Across the Spectrum: From clients to government agencies, you’ll be the bridge between worlds, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and unparalleled support.
- Deliver Heroic Behavioural Interventions: Step into the fray and provide superhero-level interventions in both group and individual settings, empowering individuals to overcome obstacles and unlock their full potential.
- Harness the Power of Evidence-Based Theories: Utilise your expertise to design program blueprints rooted in evidence-based theories, creating tailored solutions that drive meaningful progress and change.

- Champion Quality and Compliance: Lead the charge in upholding NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements, ensuring that every action you take is in line with the highest standards of excellence.

Skills and Experience
Pre-requisite to Apply:
A current registration to practice as a Proficient Behaviour SupportPractitioner in accordance with the NDIS Capability Framework.
- A minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated experience in behaviour support intervention and the development of behaviour support plans for a variety of people with disabilities and
- A minimum of 3 year’s demonstrated experience working within and adhering to NDIS behaviour support frameworks, practice standards, and quality indicators including but not limited to the appropriate implementation, reporting and fading out of restrictive practices
- An ability to appropriately respond to needs of people of all abilities and cultural backgrounds
- Sound interpersonal communication skills for negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution
- Experience in or ambition to deliver support, supervision, or mentorship to colleagues and professional peers
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- An ability to provide a service based on a client’s NDIS goals and funding allocation
- Current NSW drivers licence and willingness to travel to clients and work flexibly
- A passion and drive to improve the lives of people living with disability, a friendly and positive disposition and ability to work independently as well as within a fun, supportive, and inclusive team
