Are you passionate about making a difference in the world through your expertise in employee benefits? The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Benefits Manager to join our the Reward Centre of Expertise (COE) in Geneva.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works worldwide to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict and armed violence. We take action in response to emergencies and at the same time promote respect for international humanitarian law. We are an independent and neutral organization, and our mandate stems essentially from the Geneva Conventions of 1949. We work closely with National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and with their International Federation in order to ensure a concerted, rational and rapid humanitarian response to the needs of the victims of armed conflict or any other situation of internal violence. We direct and coordinate the international activities conducted in these situations.
Head of People and Culture COE
As the Benefits Manager, you will lead this specialism at the global level, ensuring our Employee Benefits practices align with the ICRC’s institutional strategy. You will provide expert guidance on our benefits portfolio, manage global risk policies, and lead the evolution of benefits policy and standards.
The Reward Centre of Expertise (COE) drives the Reward (Compensation & Benefits) Strategy and Regional Reward Partnering across the organisation. The Reward COE provides in-depth subject matter expertise and guidance to partners to help better align reward practices in our constantly evolving environment. Responsibilities include driving practical approaches to the definition of policy, delivery, education, compliance and consistency by partnering with both internal and external stakeholders.
The incumbent is responsible to work with HR and Stakeholders across all Employee Benefits components including Pension & Savings, Healthcare, Accident, Death and Disability, Leave standards, Vendor Management, Governance. In addition, this role interacts with important partners such across HR, Finance, Purchasing, IT, Legal, Senior leadership and external partners
