WRc, part of RSK Group are looking to recruit a Bid Manager to work full time (37 hrs pw) as part of the highly successful Commercial Services Team. This role will be based out of Swindon, England. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days in the office and a maximum of 3 days remote working.You will support the bid team at all stages of the process from opportunity assessment through to submission. Supporting the growth of our consultancy, research and technical advisory services, you will be an independent thinker, able to organise your own time, and pro-active to achieve goals and deadlines.Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Technical Teams through the Tender/Bid/Framework process to enable them to develop the provision of market leading bid and tender documents tailored to the values and requirements of the customer.
  • Completing a Proposal Preparation Plan for high level tenders so that all information is in one place, ready for everyone to access.
  • Support the drafting and reviewing of documents and collateral, such as cover letters, team and CV information and firm experience.
  • Finalise the company information needed for the submission of tenders.
  • Support final preparation of technical proposals, including formatting, sourcing graphics etc.
  • Ensuring adherence with law by seeking advice when you think appropriate (e.g. copyright and data protection).
  • Support the Tender Information Manager in checking of tender notices when required to ensure we find relevant opportunities for the company and ensure these are effectively communicated.

Person specification:

  • Past experience in a bid manager role and proven track record of bid/proposal management.
  • Keen eye for attention to detail and detailed orientated.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
  • Advance communication skills, comfortable with technical language and a desire to understand the sectors in which WRc works.
