Bid ManagerSalary circa £40,000Are you someone who can create best-in-class and compelling written proposals and creative content to support new business-related activities through the bid process?We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bid Manager to join the Workplace Savings and Retirement team.The team is focused on following the formal bid process, ensuring that all written and design content for New Business is best in class and supports all elements of research, tender, pitch and site visit preparation as well as winning and retaining profitable business.A bit about the job:Co-ordinating the end-to-end process of collating and writing best-in-class and winning tender proposals utilising a Qvidian database and fully tailoring responses to specific client requirements.Support new and existing business pitches and site visits in line with APMP principles and best practice.Work to achieve key business objectives, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, distributors and clients and work closely with the rest of the Aviva business, providing market feedback / intel which will help shape the New Business proposition for future enhancements where we can.Work to help develop our presentation materials to maximise new scheme wins and retaining existing clients.Proactively support the ongoing development of the Qvidian database, helping to create new content and uploading content acquired through the tender writing process.Skills and experience we’re looking for:Up to date knowledge of the Workplace Benefits market especially legislative, compensation and benefits trends, technology and the investment market.Good understanding of the wider financial services market and anticipated future developments.Understanding of the bid process and how this helps to acquire new business and retain existing businessStrong written communication skills and presentation skillsExperience of working to challenging deadlinesWhat you’ll get for this role:Our purpose – with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
