Job Role: Bid WriterLocation: Trafford Park, Manchester – with home workingHours: Monday to Friday 40 hoursReporting to the Head of Global Bids, you will be tasked with writing successful and compelling bids to grow the PROMAN Group’s international footprint.Here’s what you can expect to be doing:

  • Fill out relevant tender documentation including PQQ, RFI, RFP and RFQ, ensuring information presented is completely accurate.
  • Manage tender diary, ensuring all updates are tracked and reported including new tenders, deadlines, and submission updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather their input and expertise in tailoring the tender or proposal to meet client requirements.
  • Ensure all tenders and proposal documents are completed accurately, addressing client needs and complying with formatting guidelines and submission requirements.
  • Review and finalise tender/proposal, conducting quality checks to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Develop and write compelling, persuasive, and engaging content for sales collateral, including brochures, presentations, and guides.
  • Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, labour market dynamics and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
  • Take responsibility for proofreading all external sale collateral such as brochures, presentations and marketing materials related to our target labour market.
  • Review written content for spelling and grammar, punctuation, and overall clarity to ensure professionalism and accuracy.
  • Completion of ad-hoc documentation including supplier forms and pricing sheets.
  • Manage database of supplier portals, ensuring it is kept updated and optimised.

A few things about you:

  • Ideally you will have bid writing experience in a recruitment environment or similar, with at least 2+ years experience working in a bid team.
  • Experience of using Adobe InDesign is highly beneficial
  • Strong level of written English is vital for this role
  • Microsoft PowerPoint experience is crucial
  • Able to follow instructions diligently, and contribute towards creative discussions with enthusiasm
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
