About the role
You will join a team dedicated to the management of EU Framework Contracts (Communication, Event, Divers Projects, etc.). You will support the entire proposal development process to ensure on-time delivery of compliant and compelling proposals and will support the submission of the final offer to the European Institutions. Your role will include administrative support, bid writing coordination and writing support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and contribute to the entire bidding process from request analysis until proposal submission
- Analysing tender documentation, providing details of tender requirements, creating proposal templates, searching and gathering needed information, etc.
- Perform research on policy and legislative documents in order to identify the expertise needed for tenders, ensure the right selection and engagement of internal and external experts
- Manage communications with external consortium partners
- Develop and validate the outline of the technical offer
- Coordinate and revise experts’ inputs
- Support the bid writing process
- Perform technical quality checks
- Liaise with the Admin Coordinator to contribute to bid’s administrative part
- Ensure compliance with internal mci group Belgium procedures and standards as well as with requirements set by the Client in the Terms of Reference, liaise directly with the legal department for legal agreements and organise contractual arrangements
Your profile
- Eligible to work in the EU
- At least three to five years of experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated knowledge of EU Institutions procurement procedures
- Ability to work across different teams with proactivity, sense of ownership, effective communication and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail, ability to navigate with ease through multiple tasks and work in a results-driven environment
- Team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation;
- Flexible, agile and committed especially in busy periods
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Willing to learn, self-driven and open to work in a multicultural team with a high degree of autonomy
- Excellent written and spoken English C1 level (French and/or other European official languages will be a strong asset)
- Advanced knowledge of MS-Office applications – especially Word and Excel
