The Foundation
We are the largest nonprofit fighting poverty, disease, and inequity around the world. Founded on a simple premise: people everywhere, regardless of identity or circumstances, should have the chance to live healthy, productive lives. We believe our employees should reflect the rich diversity of the global populations we aim to serve. We provide an exceptional benefits package to employees and their families which include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with no premiums, generous paid time off, paid family leave, foundation-paid retirement contribution, regional holidays, and opportunities to engage in several employee communities. As a workplace, we’re committed to creating an environment for you to thrive both personally and professionally.
The Team
The Global Health division uses innovation, data, and partnerships to reduce global disease burdens and expand access to health services in low- and middle-income countries. The Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) team focuses on the control, elimination, and eradication of selected high-burden diseases recognized by the WHO, and on building integrated, sustainable delivery platforms that strengthen health systems more broadly. The team is structured around upstream innovation and downstream implementation, and collaborates closely with global partners, national governments, and other foundation teams.
Analytics and modeling are critical to the NTD strategy. They provide evidence to guide decision-making, strengthen accountability, and inform the prioritization of investments. The NTD team invests in modeling consortia, data hubs, technical assistance platforms, and geospatial analytics to strengthen data use across partners and programs.
This position is a limited-term position for 12 months. Relocation will not be provided.
Applications will be accepted until 5:00pm PDT, September 26, 2025
As the Program Officer, Analytics & Modeling, you will report to the Deputy Director, Upstream Domain and work closely with other investment owners and key partners. You will manage and advise on a portfolio of highly visible data and modeling initiatives that cut across the NTD strategy.
You will provide thought leadership on the foundation’s data strategy for NTDs, serve as a technical resource to the Program Strategy Team (PST), and ensure coordination and execution of major investments. This includes serving as a trusted partner to external collaborators, developing insights to guide decision-making, and strengthening our approach to using data to achieve measurable results in disease elimination.
You will create data and analytics that close gaps in primary data, strengthen analytical tools and methods, and package and disseminate insights to widely diverse audiences. You will also convert technical outputs into compelling visualizations, persuasive narratives, and novel insights that directly inform program and policy decisions for maximum impact!
