BMS People Pool

We recently started to build up a pool of people with specific expertise from across the global church. Our People Pool will enable us to be more agile and responsive, drawing on global expertise to provide targeted support to organisations and networks for short period of time for assignments that can be carried out remotely or in person depending on the need.

Individuals can apply to be on the pool and, if successful in their application, they will be invited to be part of the virtual pool. When an assignment comes up that requires your skills and experience, we would get in touch to see if you are interested and available for the assignment.

The skills and experience we’re looking for might change according to demand but we are currently looking for the following skills:

Members of the people pool will have at least one of these core skills:

• Training/facilitation of learning

• Mentoring

• Providing specialist advice

• Coaching

In addition you will bring expertise in one of the following areas:

• Strategic planning

• Financial management

• Fundraising

• People management

• Project management

• Leadership development

• Organisational development

• Church and Community Mobilisation

• Care for personnel

• Crisis management

• Bi-vocational mission
