JobsBank has exciting plans for growth and capacity building amidst a time of reform for business, who may be grappling with the changing workforce demands and expectations, as well as building an attractive value proposition to jobseekers from diverse backgrounds and communities.
JobsBank would like to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to join their Board with the following priority skills and experience sought:
- Strategic mindset/growth and/or turnaround experience
- Setting, reviewing and monitoring of strategy
- Sales/Marketing skills and expertise
- Business/management consulting
- Procurement, with an understanding of social procurement models (and sectoral opportunities)
The Board is seeking to appoint three new Directors to its current Board. Candidates will ideally have Board experience and a good understanding of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and/or social procurement principles and practice. JobsBank’s strategy includes targeting specific sectors where growth opportunities exist, so candidates with experience and networks in the following industries and sectors will be considered favourably.
- Renewable energy
- Construction
- Manufacturing
- Food and fibre
- Care and Support sector
