  SUMMARY  The Board Liaison plays a pivotal role in
facilitating communication between the Board of Directors and the
Executive Team, ensuring the effective functioning of the
Foundation’s governance processes. This position requires a highly
organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. The Board Liaison is
responsible for managing the flow of information between the Board
and Executive Team, coordinating, and documenting Board meetings,
and ensuring mandated procedures are followed.   
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the Board of Directors and
    Executive Team. 
  • Facilitate timely and accurate communication of Board decisions,
    policies, and directives to relevant parties. 
  • Organize and coordinate Board meetings, including scheduling,
    public notice and agenda preparation, report generation, and
    distribution of Board Book materials. 
  • Attend and record minutes during Board meetings, ensuring accurate
    documentation of discussions, decisions, action items, and filing
    of Board minutes as mandated. 
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information related to Board
    activities, ensuring data security and compliance with governance
    protocols. 
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date repository of Board documents,
    resolutions, and policies in the electronic Board
    portal. 
  • Support Board development initiatives, including orientation
    sessions for new Board members and ongoing learning opportunities
    and retreats. 
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new Board
    members. 
  • Understand and maintain the Foundation’s bylaws, governing
    policies, and committee charters, ensuring mandated procedures are
    followed. 
  • Work closely with the Executive Team to implement Board-approved
    policies and initiatives. 
  • Coordinate follow-up actions resulting from Board meetings,
    ensuring that decisions are implemented, and deadlines are
    met. 
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to provide necessary support
    for the execution of Board approved initiatives. 
  • Foster positive relationships with Board members and external
    stakeholders. 
  • Serve as a representative of the Foundation in interactions with
    external parties related to Board matters. 
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Strategy Officer as
    needed, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel and processing
    expense reporting. 

OTHER DUTIES 

  • Participates in team activities and completes diverse assignments
    in support of team goals. 
  • Performs general Foundation support activities and carries out
    special projects as required. 
  • Adheres to the Foundation’s core and staff values and commits to
    personal growth and learning around these values.

   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE    Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.  Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Familiarity with
governance principles and practices. Ability to handle confidential
information with discretion. Strong organizational and project
management skills with attention to detail. Excellent
interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to
effectively manage time and prioritize tasks. Proficiency in office
productivity software and Board management tools.

Starting Salary 62,000 to 69,000      Benefits:
