As a result of recent growth, Windana has created a new role part-time role, reporting to CEO that is focused on providing high level executive and administrative support to the CEO and Board and its sub-committees.
You will be working proactively and collaboratively alongside the Executive Team to ensure effective governance of the organisation. Some of the responsibilities include:
- High-level administration and Board support.
- Board meeting scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking, compiling reports, and following up on actions arising.
- Prepare high level presentations and briefing papers for the Board and Sub-Committee.
- Provide deep knowledge and advice on the Corporations Act and Windana’s constitution.
- Work closely with the Chief Finance Officer as Company Secretary.
To be successful in this role, you
- Are an experienced in Board Secretariat function
- Proven organisational skills ; able to prioritise a different tasks and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Are able to collate and interpret data and prepare reports making recommendations
- Are a conceptual thinker and a well-seasoned communicator
- Have demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships across organisations
- A team player with the ability to work independently
- Deep knowledge of corporate governance
- Experience working within the alcohol and other drug, public health, community, not-for-profit, for-purpose or government sectors.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with qualifications from AIDC highly desirable.
