About the Role
Impel Talent is partnering with a prestigious client to recruit multiple Botanical Ecologists for a significant conservation project across the UK. This six-month project offers an outstanding opportunity for seasoned botanists to apply their expertise in ecological consultancy, covering areas like habitat management, protected species surveys, Biodiversity Net Gain, ECoW, impact assessments, and thermal imaging. This role is guaranteed through September, with the potential for extension, ensuring a fulfilling and rewarding experience in ecological conservation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough ecological surveys with accuracy and precision.
• Utilize botanical expertise to identify and evaluate plant species.
• Demonstrate proficiency in protected species surveys and habitat management.
• Produce detailed reports and assessments aligned with project and regulatory standards.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum FISC Level 4 qualification (Level 3 candidates must be willing to pursue Level 4).
• Strong ecological surveying skills, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent botanical knowledge and plant identification skills.
• Extensive experience in ecological surveying and report writing.
• Possession of a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
