EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
Preferred
- Some college
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred
- Experience in the human service and/or recreation field
- Experience working with children.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Preferred
- CPR and First Aid certifications
SKILLS
Required
- Willingness to learn
- Flexibility and patience
- Ability to live on-site during the season
- Ability to make judgment decisions in a setting where variables can change quickly, and often without notice (such as weather conditions)
- Ability to easily, effectively, and proficiently communicate needs, feedback, and questions throughout the program
- Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information
- Ability to provide a safe, fun environment for all
- Ability/Willingness to assist with activities of daily living
This is a physically active position requiring mobility. Must have the ability to move and transfer equipment. Must have the stamina to endure long hours in a position that is both physically and emotionally demanding. Nights will be part of the duties and responsibilities due to our residential capacity. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Martinsville, Indiana
$300-$450 per week, room and board is included on top of the flat hourly rate.
