The mission of BPMC aims to foster connection with nature, community, and self through outdoor education and recreation. BPMC endeavors to promote and provide immersive experiences in land-based learning that bolsters nature connection, ecological stewardship and youth resiliency. Our curriculum, camps, and staffing cultivate a sense of positive identity through place-based, experiential, outdoor recreation steeped in self and social awareness, creativity, and ecological restoration. Building strength through our collaborations and interrelationships across communities and geographies, BPMC strives to foster curiosity, creativity, and critical consciousness through curriculum rooted in the environment, local histories, earth-based arts, and wilderness skills. BPMC enters its second year of summer camps at the Loup Loup Ski Bowl offering innovative and unique learning opportunities for campers.

Job Summary:
As an outdoor educator you will be responsible for leading and collaborating with Loup Loup Ski Bowl and BPMC staff to deliver place-based, experiential curriculum to youth ages 8 -16 in four weeks of camps from June 22 – July 24th. The successful applicant will be expected to co-design, develop, and implement curriculum for our program working 1:1, in small groups, and whole group settings to administer safe and engaging land-based learning opportunities.
